We're experiencing some technical difficulties....

Hey everyone! It's been a long time since we have posted anything to this blog. (Almost an entire year to be exact.) I guess we're not what you would consider your typical "bloggers". But hey, at least we're tryin.

We have a lot going on right now in our lives. Ryan is no longer with the company he has been with for the last 4 years (don't feel bad, it was the best thing that could have happened to us). He is currently interviewing, and has had some real success! Who knew that job hunting was such a chore?! So some kind of change is in the forecast for us. Maybe a move, maybe not. Tune in to find out what happens.......

Liala is growing up so fast. She is learning to use sign language more than she is learning to speak, but she is at least able to communicate, and we cut out a lot of temper tantrums this way! She loves, loves, loves dogs. Funny thing is, we don't own a dog. I guess when we get our own house, that will be her housewarming present! I'm not looking forward to that day. Sigh.

I am still watching Lily An everyday. She is a juberant 4 year old and a jabber mouth! So many questions. Everytime we are out, I think people just assume that I adopted her! A man at the zoo yesterday said to me out of nowhere "All of my Asian students were very bright. You sure are lucky." She is so cute though, I don't mind if people think she's mine! Liala really loves having her around, and on Thursdays when she isn't here, I think Liala misses her a little bit. Ryan and I consider her "one of our girls"!

I am good. I am still in Young Womens, and I really enjoy my calling. I saw the girls early this morning when I walked to the church to say goodbye. They have camp all week this week in Maryland. I think I'll go up on Thursday to see them and be part of the testimony meeting. I am still working at Gymboree every once in awhile when they have their new clothing lines come out. It's just nice for me to get out of the house and talk to grown ups for a few hours a week!

Okay, miss jabbermouth won't leave me alone so this is the end of my story for now.
